Programme Overview

Build technical and practical capability in renewable energy and environmental engineering through foundation science, engineering applications, climate studies, and field-based learning.

About the Degree

Renewable energy and environmental solutions for society

The Bachelor in Renewable Energy & Environmental Engineering prepares students to design, develop, and implement solutions in renewable energy and environmental management. The programme brings together environmental and climate change learning in the foundation year and advances into engineering, energy systems, environmental evaluation, and applied research in later years.

Students study natural climate variability, anthropogenic climate change, adaptation and mitigation, then progress into renewable energy infrastructure such as solar power, hydropower, wind energy, tidal systems, and bioenergy. The programme also develops capability in waste management, water supply, wastewater treatment, groundwater management, and watershed governance.
