General DHERST Entry Requirement
- Selection into UNRE undergraduate programs is done through DHERST’s National Online Application and Selection System (NOAS/NOSS). (DHERST)
- DHERST considers Grade 12 GPA, specific subject requirements, raw scores, program quotas, and ranking. (DHERST)
- Programs may require different subject combinations. Students must check the NOAS portal for exact prerequisites. (DHERST)
- A GPA below about ~2.3 to ~2.8 may limit program selection, while competitive programs often attract higher GPA applicants. Estimates below reflect common entry levels based on recent intake data and selection trends. (Study in PNG)
DHERST GPA Guideline
- Minimum threshold for many UNRE programs: ~2.3+ GPA in Grade 12 National Exams (Study in PNG)
- Competitive selection (higher demand programs): ~2.8+ GPA (or higher depending on demand and quotas) (Study in PNG)
- All applicants should check NOAS for exact subject combinations and minimum requirements for each program. (DHERST)
